Practice / Clinic Administration

MSHO has long recognized the crucial role clinic and practice administrators play in the care of Michigan’s cancer patients. Charged with oversight of the business dealings of the oncology practice, human resources, public relations, strategic planning, compliance monitoring, inventory management and anything else that comes up, the administrator must be kept current on all regulations, reimbursement changes and trends in this very specialized management setting.

The Society offers trainings and sorts and disseminates key information for distribution to our administrators. Perhaps the greatest service MSHO offers this dedicated group is the Society’s facilitation of networking opportunities through our meetings and administrators’ list serve. The sharing of best practices and concerns in a trusted environment empowers managers in their ongoing challenges to keep their practices and clinics economically viable while delivering high quality cancer care.
