HHS Renews Public Health Emergency

On July 23rd the public health emergency (PHE) was extended allowing many of the waivers and expansions for telehealth that have occurred since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020.  The PHE declaration is effective for 90 days afterward unless it is declared over by the Secretary before then or renewed before it expires. The latest renewal now lasts up until October 21, 2020.  Read Declaration
