Take charge of your trainee experience: Apply to serve on the ASH Trainee Council!
The deadline has been extended to June 29, 2020
The American Society of Hematology (ASH) is still accepting applications to serve on the ASH Trainee Council. Council members help the Committee on Training plan and develop ASH events and services, including trainee events at the ASH annual meeting, such as ASH-a-Palooza. Trainee Council members also assist ASH in creating the best education materials and programs for hematology trainees. Some of the projects include:
- ASH Career Development Timelines
- Grants Clearinghouse
- ASH-a-Palooza at the ASH annual meeting
- Development of articles and case studies for TraineE-News
- Development of trainee-specific articles for The Hematologist
- Development of COVID-19 FAQs for trainees
Please note that each training program may only submit one application per year. ASH is currently accepting applications from MD, DO, MD/PhD, and PhD fellows, whose training will continue through June 2022, to serve on the ASH Trainee Council.
The deadline has been extended to June 29, 2020. Apply now.
As the medical community is focused on addressing the COVID-19 global health crisis, ASH is continuing to support hematologists through a variety of programs, awards, and grants. If current circumstances are preventing you from participating in or applying for one of our programs, we encourage you to contact training@hematology.org before the application deadline.
