OCN Pre-Test Workshop

Multiple Locations

Once again, MSHO will offer this concise review course, designed to meet the needs of oncology nurses. This course is intended for staff nurses, nurse managers and educators practicing in the area of oncology nursing. It is also ideal for RNs who are new to the specialty, those re-entering the field who desire a refresher course or RNs transitioning from another area into oncology nursing.

Presenter Barbara Wilson, MS, RN, AOCN, ACNS-BC, from WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia, has helped train well over 1,500 nurses in the 17 years it has been offered as MSHO continues to champion the professional growth of our nurses.

Based on feedback from last year's participants, this year's program will be a full day workshop, with a continental breakfast and lunch included. To view the flier, click here.

MSHO Has Implemented NEW Meeting Registration Requirements in 2017
One of the benefits of being a MSHO member, or employed by a member, is that you can attend MSHO sponsored meetings at a reduced rate, and some even at NO charge. As with any meeting you attend, a registration deadline is established. This deadline is essential in planning for materials, seating, food counts, room set up, staffing needs and much more. The sites we contract with also have deadlines to which we have to adhere. If we make changes to our counts or room set up, we are assessed a fee. All MSHO meetings now have an early bird registration date. For the meetings that have no fee attached, anyone registering after the early bird date will be charged a $50.00 registration fee.

Registration:
        Register before September 7
               MSHO Member: No Fee
               Non-MSHO Member: $50.00
               Industry Nurses/Nurse Educators: $250.00

        Register after September 7
               MSHO Member: $50.00
               Non-MSHO Member: $100.00
               Industry Nurses/Nurse Educators: $300.00

Registration is now closed. All classes are full and there will be no walk-ins allowed.
