This presentation will provide pharmacists practicing in various settings an overview of the anticancer drug approvals in 2019. The presentation will also discuss relevant clinical trial findings and their utility in clinical practice.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Angela Duenn is the Regional Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator Hematology-Oncology at St. Joseph Mercy Health System. She graduated from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and completed both her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Nebraska Medicine and her PGY2 hematology-oncology specialty pharmacy residency at the Karmanos Cancer Center. During her previous position at Beaumont Health in Royal Oak, she was highly engaged in the PGY1 residency program at Beaumont: precepting residents, mentoring young clinicians, conducting research and quality improvement projects. She also participated in scholarly projects with the hematology-oncology physician fellows and provided frequent in-services to nursing staff. Angela's practice interests include management of drug interactions with targeted therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy-induced toxicities, and supportive care in cancer patients. In her free time, she enjoys playing strategy-based board games and spending quality time with her 17 nieces and nephews.
