The Health Can’t Wait Act of 2019 is nearly finalized. The legislation is built on the core principles of transparency and fairness; clinical validity, timeliness and administrative efficiencies; continuity of care; and alternatives and exemptions.
The legislation is poised to be introduced in the Senate in mid-October with a hearing in the Senate Health Policy Committee as soon as late October.
A legislative action day will be held on October 30 from 9 am – 3 pm at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Lansing, so please mark your calendars and sign up to attend here.
Reform won’t be possible without the collective voice of Michigan’s physicians, providers, practice managers, and patients, standing together and taking on this fight!
